Karnataka Congress Fights For Survival As More MLAs Resign, 2 More Rebel MLAs Resign

The fight for survival for the Karnataka government is still on. A total of 13 Congress MLAs including two new entrants in the bandwagon have submitted their resignations to the Karnataka assembly Speaker. High drama was witnessed after the rebel MLAs were reportedly kidnapped and kept hostage in Vidhan Soudha for three hours. Meanwhile, in Mumbai, police on Wednesday detained DK Shivakumar, who after being denied entry was sitting outside the hotel where the rebel MLAs are lodged, for allegedly violating Section 144. Congress leaders Dinesh Gundu and Ghulam Nabi Azad were also detained during protest.
