My “Rough Draft” of a Hurricane Meal Plan (I adjust this based on what I have in the cabinet plus how long I feel that we need to be prepared for!):

Day 1:
– Breakfast: Anything in the fridge/freezer
– Lunch: Anything in the fridge/freezer
– Dinner: Anything in the fridge/freezer

Day 2:
– Breakfast: Kids Breakfast food, Kris & Whit: Fruit & Bagels or cereal
– Lunch: Ramen Noodles, Fruit for Kris & Whit; Peanut Butter Sandwiches & Apple Sauce & Chips for kids
– Dinner: Rice, Margaret Holmes Seasoned Veggies for Kris & Whit; Cheese Ravioli & Fruit for kids

Day 3:
– Breakfast: Kids Breakfast food, Kris & Whit: Fruit & Bagels/Granola Bars or cereal
– Lunch: Tuna with Tomato/Peanut Butter Sandwiches, Chips
– Dinner: Pasta tossed with Sauce, Crusty Bread

Day 4:
– Breakfast: Kids Breakfast food, Kris & Whit: Fruit & Bagels/Granola Bars or cereal
– Lunch: Soup & Crackers for Kris & Whit; Peanut Butter Sandwiches & Chips for kids
– Dinner: Rice bowl with Black Beans, Corn, Canned Chicken (Sautéed in pan with cumin & chili spices), salsa, tortilla chips, squeeze of lime

Day 5:- Breakfast: Kids Breakfast Food, Kris & Whit: Fruit & Bagels, granola bars or cereal
– Lunch: Peanut Butter Sandwiches or Ramen Noodles; Chips
– Dinner: Collard Greens, Field Peas, Succotash, and Rice OR Canned Chili with Rice
